Do I have to be a Marine or Military family to apply?NO. Toys are distributed as described above based on each charitable organization’s rules. Generally, their rules are similar to ours. We do not discriminate based on military verses civilian status, race, creed, religion, color or gender. When can I apply to receive toys? It’s always best to check with your organization early so whoever is in charge of it has time to apply or renew their application to receive toys. He, She or they will also need to have time to organize their list needs for the ages, etc. of the children. We always try to provide toys for boys and girls of all ages, as requested, so no child is left out.My child wants a particular toy. Is that possible? We always do our best to fulfill requests but we cannot guarantee specific toys for specific children. We only have each year’s donations to work with and the actual distribution to the families and children is done by the local organizations themselves.I don’t live in Las Vegas. Can I still apply for a toy?YES! The Marine Toys for Tots annual campaign is nationwide. Again, check with your organization or call your local Marine Corps recruiting office to find out when, where and how toys are distributed in your area.Learn more about how to request a toy at the ToysForTots Foundation Web Site
The Las Vegas, Nevada Foundation website is at:http://las-vegas-nv.toysfortots.orgHow do I apply to receive toys?We do not distribute toys directly to the recipients. Instead, we provide toys, games and books to local churches, schools, government and other registered non-profit organizations based on their requested items for their members and/or the local community. You should make your request to your Pastor, Rabbi, Social Worker, etc. Chances are that they are already registered to receive toys through the foundation.Scroll down for more frequently asked questions and answers.
